FAMILY
To many, Parkview is like a big family. Just like any family, we can have moments of frustration, but for the most part we love, respect, and care for each other. Let's do our best to make sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome here, and do our part to keep the building nice.
LUGGAGE & COATS
If you stay the night at PADS you know that you have a unique need when it comes to luggage on Sunday morning. What should you do with it? For the safety and security of your belongings (and due to lack of space) we ask that you check your luggage into the gym storage closet from 8:15 until noon. Luggage will be tagged and locked in the closet so you can enjoy your morning without worry. Coats should be hung on the portable rack in the gymnasium and can be retreived for those who wish to take smoke breaks.
SMOKING
Smoking is allowed by the loading dock. To get there, go out the back entrance by the kitchen window in the lobby. The smoking area is closed during worship services (9:15-10:15am, 10:45am-noon).
HANGING OUT
Church may not be your thing. We are still happy for you to be here, but ask that you follow the morning schedule as others do. Please do not just "hang out" somewhere during class or church services.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
All financial requests are handled through the Deacon's Fund. Please do not ask a fellow church attendee for a "hand-out" or financial help on a Sunday morning. A Deacon's Fund form is available at the info center and will alert church leaders to your need.
CHILDREN/YOUTH BUILDING
The wing that houses our old facility is now specifically for Children and Youth Ministries. Only kids, parents, and children/youth volunteers are allowed in that part of the building.
